OUR STORY
Meet Diana, an accomplished advanced nurse practitioner with a lifelong appetite for winning (games) and Martin, a neurodiverse entrepreneur with a passion for helping others realise their potential and a creative side that kickstarted this project.
With our shared love for games and our everlasting desire to win, we decided to embark on this challenging adventure that has not only made us grow but has also brought us closer together. It was from this shared passion that GASPERTONGAMES LTD was founded, and with that, we proudly present to you our creation: SH*THEAD ZOMBIES. GASPERTONGAMES LTD was brought to life in November 2023. Our main goal is to promote family values, encourage people to take a break from electronic devices and basically just remind everyone how much fun game nights can be!
The idea of creating a card game stemmed from the many hours we spent playing the traditional version of “Shithead” using a standard deck of cards during those sunny summer afternoons in the park. The thoughts of improving on it and making it stand out with unique designs arose and SH*THEAD ZOMBIES was born with a fresh twist that is sure to captivate players!
With this game, we hope to create an opportunity for everyone to reconnect and strengthen their relationships. Moreover, as we believe in the power of humility and how it can positively impact our lives, we also intend to contribute towards a good cause – supporting the neurodiverse community in avoiding homelessness in the UK by donating part of the profits of each deck sold to a charitable organisation. With Martin’s neurodiversity, we have firsthand experience of how difficult managing day-to-day life can be. Neurodivergents’ unique brains make simple or important tasks almost impossible to do, leading to consequences that escalate way beyond what they should have been. These consequences involve the inability to maintain a job or a house due to society’s intolerance and lack of understanding, often leading them to homelessness.

We understand that it is not through choice nor through intended actions that this group needs additional support to help navigate this increasingly complicated world, which is why we are vested in supporting their cause.

MEET MARTIN
I have always felt like a misfit because of my neurodiversity (AUDHD – High Functioning Autism and ADHD). These conditions make me serious and fun in equal measure, chaotic and disciplined, outgoing and reserved and basically an enigma depending on the prevailing condition of the brain at any given time.
My mindset and beliefs have always been different from the majority of people, which has made it challenging to fit in completely. However, this sense of being different sparked a strong sense of duty within me.
This duty became my inspiration for starting this project. I want to encourage others to embrace a philosophy of "be yourself but better," regardless of if you think you will not achieve something due to limited self-beliefs. I firmly believe that by pursuing our passions and never giving up on our potential, we all can achieve great things.
I am always open to new experiences and stories, and I am more than willing to share my own to support your journey. Believe in yourself, and the rest will fall into place naturally. MEET DIANA
Hey there! So, let me introduce myself - I'm a bundle of fun, wrapped in layers of sarcasm! It's safe to say that I have a natural knack for making people laugh, often at the most unexpected moments. Life's too short to be serious all the time, right?
A few years ago, I made a life-changing decision to move from Portugal to the United Kingdom in pursuit of my career aspirations. It was a leap of faith, but I've never looked back since. Transitioning from one country to another has brought its fair share of challenges, but it has also provided me with unique opportunities for personal and professional growth.
I am passionate about women's health and women’s rights and I wholeheartedly believe in the power and necessity of gender equality as well as the need to challenge social norms that perpetuate gender stereotypes.
I'm also an avid traveller who loves to explore new places and immerse myself in different cultures. The thrill of stepping off a plane in an unfamiliar land, with its intriguing sights, sounds, and smells, is the best feeling ever! My latest journey has led me down this foreign path of creating a card game. And what a
journey it has been, filled with learning and endless possibilities for expansion!
